11-day tour with 10 nights out

• Day 1
  Pick up from the airport/hotel and transfer to Kurunegala. Overnight stay in Kurunegala.
• Day 2
  Visit Arankele ancient monastery, Ridi Viharaya Temple. Overnight stay in Kurunegala.
• Day 3
  Transfer to Kandy and Visit Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the tooth relic), Peradeniya botanical gardens, elephant orphanage in Pinnawala. See cultural dance at Kandy in the evening. Overnight stay in Kandy.
• Day 4
  Transfer to Mahiyanganaya and visit Hasalaka waterfall, Rathna Ella. Overnight stay in Mahiyanganaya.
• Day 5
  Visit Vedda people (indigenous people). After lunch, visit Mahiyanganaya temple.
• Day 6
  Visit Sorabora Wewa (a reservoir) and birdwatching in the morning. Stay overnight in a hotel or camping.
• Day 7, 8
  Transfer to Badulla. Take the 11am train to Elle for a scenic train ride. 2 nights stay in Ella.
• Day 9
  Visit Kuruvita to see Gem mines and Saman Devale a shrine dedicated to the God Saman. Overnight stay in Kuruvita.
• Day 10
  Transfer to south, Bentota, Galle or Unawatuna for a beach stay. Visit Gall fort a world Heritage Site and Madu river safari.
• Day 11
  Visit Kanneliya rain forest.
